This is Your Life. Do What You Want…

"This is your life. Do what you want and do it often.
If you don't like something, change it.
If you don't like your job, quit.
If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV.
If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love.
 Stop over-analysing, life is simple.
 All emotions are beautiful.
When you eat, appreciate every last bite.
 Life is simple.
Open your heart, mind and arms to new things and people, we are united in our differences.
Ask the next person you see what their passion is and share your inspiring dream with them.
Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself.
Some opportunities only come once, seize them.
Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating.
Life is short, live your dream and wear your passion."

Holstee Manifesto, The Wedding Day

Nothing to add… just do it.

May 2014 be your year to shine and give. We’re in this together folks. Peace.

Deborah much has changed or will be changing in my life for 2014. I have learned to follow the advice your posted in this blog. I have read everything you have written on your blog even though I have not commented on every entry. I have recommended it to many people. You are a wise and resourceful person and I am so glad I came across you. As far of my changes: First, I have retired from a steady job. I have a decent income in retirement and this will free me to do some things that do not need to generate a financial return. We live debt free and this helps. Second, I have developed some rewarding hobbies. I paint and have taken lessons from multiple artists in the last two years. In the process my confidence has increased and I feel good about my paintings. Third, I plan to leverage my experience and technology and deliver it to the public in an interesting and compelling form. Fourth, being a car guy I own a late model Corvette I purchased new and am a lifetime member of the National Corvette Museum. It is a 155K square foot indoor mall type facility complete with an extensive gift shop, banquet facility, and restaurant. I have volunteered there on several occasions. As long as you make this blog I will read it. In closing I want to thank you for being the cool person you are.

Deb – I have had a poster of the Holstee Manifesto hung in my house for 2-3 years now – great motivation!
